Rockstar Trailer of Ranbir Kapoor
Imtiaz Ali's much awaited film Rockstar's trailer is out highlighting journey of Ranbir Kapoor from a lover boy to a rockstar in the film. The film combines elements of desire, passion, fame and destruction in the making of a rockstar.
This is also late legendary actor Shammi Kapoor's last film. He'll be seen in a jugalbandi sequence with his grandnephew Ranbir. Ranbir will strum a guitar while Shammi will play a shehnai.
AR Rahman has composed the music for the film. The film's trailer was released today with Salman Khan's Bodyguard. The film is scheduled for a November 11 release (11.11.11) which is considered to be a lucky date.

When rock star Ranbir meets sports star Messi
Bollywood's very own ROCKSTAR Ranbir Kapoor recently met the sports legend Lionel Andres Messi in Barcelona. A pro football player himself, Ranbir Kapoor was excited to meet one of the best football players of his generation and recipient of five La Liga titles and three Champions League.While the two spoke at length about their respective fields, Messi taught Ranbir a couple of tricks and other nuances of the game which the Bollywood star immediately picked up given his passion for football. The footballer was also impressed with Ranbir's knowledge and skill for the sport.
Says a source, "Ranbir is a huge Messi fan and would have loved to watch the match in Kolkata, however given his prior commitments couldn't make it. His shoot schedule for Anurag Basu's BARFEE was pushed thanks to the rains and hence he could not be present for the match. While the rest of the industry was dying to meet the sports star, Ranbir received a special
invite to meet Messi, which was a dream come true being the sports enthusiast that he is. As both the youth icons met, Messi personally autographed Ranbir's cap and they spoke at length about their respective fields. Messi also taught Ranbir a couple of tricks of the game which he immediately mastered given his love for football."
